How many cutlery pieces do I need?
A common rule is one place setting – knife, fork, spoon and teaspoon – per person, plus a few extra for guests. Sets for 6 or 12 people are the easiest start.
Is stainless steel cutlery dishwasher-safe?
Stainless steel cutlery is generally dishwasher-safe. Rinse off acidic or salty food first, take it out once the cycle ends and dry it to keep it shiny. Follow the care instructions for your set.
What does 18/10 stainless steel mean?
18/10 means the steel contains about 18% chromium and 10% nickel. It resists corrosion well and keeps its shine, which is why it is widely used for quality cutlery.
How do I keep cutlery shiny?
Wash it soon after use, avoid long soaking and dry it with a soft cloth. Water spots come off with a little vinegar or a stainless steel cleaner.
